Copeland Manor 50th Anniversary Mosaic Project

Ceramic, porcelain tile, mirror, glass, student-made ceramic leaves, ceramic frogs    40" x 14'

The design for this mural was inspired by a quote by J.R.R. Tolkien:  "Still round the corner there may wait, a new road or a secret gate."

It represents the wonder and curiosity young students can have as they journey through life long learning.  The Copeland Manor School community including 350,  enthusiastic students and parent volunteers  worked collaboratively  with the artist to create this mosaic mural.
