Mastering the Art of Mosaic Instructor - Chris Zonta Get Inspired - Have Fun - Express Yourself! You will learn about the tools, materials, adhesives and bases needed to do both indoor and outdoor mosaics. We will explore the many types of tesserae and techniques used in making contemporary mosaics and discuss design approaches. I will also give an overview of trends in mosaic art, where to purchase materials and will have examples and books on hand as inspiration. All the materials will be provided for you to make either a small table top, a lazy susan or wall piece. I have many colored tiles, glass, china and plates for you to choose from. You are encouraged to bring any tiles, plates or other ceramic pieces you may have collected to use in your project. (Second time students can choose their project, i.e., small mirror, flower pot, jewelry box, etc. Contact me for other project options.) Contact me for info regarding classes and workshops.
